What you’ll be doing
Silk Road Bikers is a biker-themed restaurant and event venue inspired by the historic Silk Road, combining high-quality dining with motorcycle culture and live events. Based in Tehran, our venue serves a diverse clientele—bikers, families and visitors—seeking an energetic, welcoming atmosphere. We are hiring experienced Bartenders to join a fast-paced front-of-house team and help deliver consistent beverage service during service hours and special events.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to standard recipes while maintaining speed and accuracy.
- Greet guests, take beverage orders, provide menu guidance and upsell specials and signature cocktails.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar station: restock glassware, garnishes, ice and supplies between shifts and during service.
- Operate POS terminals to enter orders, process payments and ensure accurate tabs and cash handling procedures.
- Adhere to health, safety and responsible service guidelines, including checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption.
- Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to coordinate timely drink delivery for tables and events.
What we’re looking for
Must-have:
Preferred:
- Minimum 2 years' bar or cocktail service experience in busy restaurants, bars, or event venues.
- Proven knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine and spirits, including cocktail mixing techniques and plating/garnish presentation.
- Strong cash-handling and POS operation skills with attention to accuracy and speed.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to upsell and manage guest expectations calmly under pressure.
- Ability to multitask: manage several drink orders, maintain cleanliness and restock supplies during peak periods.
- Familiarity with local health and safety, responsible alcohol service and basic food safety practices.
- Teamwork and adaptability for rotating events, private bookings and periodic late-night service.
- Physical stamina for standing long shifts, lifting kegs or cases up to typical safe-lift limits, and working in a high-energy environment.
Preferred:
- Bartender certification or responsible alcohol service training.
- Vocational hospitality education or relevant professional experience.
